Suzanne Meyer Sue began her career with Charlene’s Pet Services in 2004 as a professional dog walker. Sue covers the Blue Bell area for us. Sue is also our daycare opener. She welcomes arriving daycare members from 7 am to 10am. When Sue is not working, she spends time with her husband and two daughters Nicole and Sabrina. They share their home with 1 cat and 3 rats. Sue is an avid photographer and plays in an orchestral group. Ashleigh House Ashleigh joined our doggie daycare team in summer of 2008. She previously worked in a commercial boarding kennel, as kennel attendant and dog walker. Ashleigh spends most of her time at doggie daycare interacting with our “Kitchen Kids” crowd. Ashleigh lives at home with her family which includes two Standard Poodles. She is a home schooled and has earned her black belt in the martial arts. Wendy Wonderful Wendy wondered into doggie daycare one Wednesday in wintery winter of 2004. She was a ray of sunshine from the very beginning and the dogs and owners alike took an instant shining to her. She appears in daycare on an occasional sunny Wednesday. She spreads her cheery attitude to all the daycare staff and all dogs. Most times you can find her cuddling, singing and dancing with the dogs. She has no puppy to call her own, but considers all pets here at daycare, hers. |
Doggie Day Care Staff Stacey Marlow: Stacey has been with us since May 2007. Stacey is the daycare office manager, a daily dog walker and pet sitter, specializing in avian care. Stacey is often found snuggling and spoiling the “little ones” in our “kitchen kids” program. She has had animals all her life and enjoys anything animal related. Her interests include holistic animal care, reading, photography, traveling and spending time with family, friends and her pets. Stacey is married to Jeff, has two sons Ryan and Jeffrey and a step-son Dylan. Stacey’s other family members include her Great Pyrenees Toby, four cats Timber, Silvia, Aurora and Peanut and two Parrots. Mike, a 33 year old yellow nape Amazon parrot and five year old African Grey, Gracie. Charlene Townsend Owner, canine socialization specialist and head bottle washer at Charlene’s Pet Sitting Services. Charlene started her professional life with animals at the age of sixteen working in a pet store cleaning cages. Charlene has work as a vet technician at various animal hospitals on the east coast, the Garden State Humane Society as an animal control officer, in various horse barns as stable help and camp counselor. Charlene has owned reptiles, birds, exotics such as raccoon and guinea hens and every kind of small pet. Charlene continues her education in canine behavior and management at Kutztown University and attends seminars and online courses. She currently shares her home with her husband of 20+ years, 2 great danes, 5 cats, 3 chickens, 4 rats and 2 mice, and goes horseback riding for pleasure as often as possible. Charlene is a member of ABKA and Pet Sitters International since 1989. Rosalie Reed Rosie came to work in our doggie daycare in summer of 2008. Rosalie was looking for a fun job with pets after she retired from her job of many years. Rosalie is a hard worker, with a motherly spirit. She takes great pride in making sure that everything is spic and span, and smelling great at the end of the day. The dogs love seeing Rosalie’s smiling face as they go home in the evening. Rosalie shares her home with her husband and 2 Yorkshire terriers. Rosalie and her husband Bob share a love of music. Rosalie takes piano lessons and Bob sings doo whoop in local clubs and restaurants. Simon SaysAlot Simon is our resident kitty cat. Simon is a Siamese mix who definitely earns his keep. The dogs love Simon and they treat him like one of their own kind. Simon can be seen hanging out with our “Kitchen Kids” crowd on a daily basis. He will also lend a hand in Puppy Kindergarten to help socialize the young ones on proper kitty and puppy etiquette.
