Founded in 1989 by Charlene Townsend who has over 27 years in the pet care industry and takes her responsibility as a business owner seriously. She strives to continually add new services and provide First Class Pet Care to each and every client. Charlene prides herself on getting to personally know every one her customers.

About the Trainer:

Animal Talent Agent, Trainer and Handler, Barbara R. Muehleib, is the Dog Training Classes Instructor at Charlene's Pet Services.

Barbara started her involvement with dogs when she adopted an adult male German Shepherd Dog and went to dog training classes where Obedience was taught by the "jerk and drag method".

With apologies to her dog, Lex Loci, she decided there had to be a better way.

Through years of participating in training classes, seminars, competitive sled dog racing and dog shows, Barbara has developed training methods that are designed to make communication between the Human and the Dog understandable in both directions.

Her teaching method is to provide information and coaching to the Human.  Students often hear her say "the dog  already knows how to do that, so let's show you how to get that behavior to occur when you want it to happen".

She also says "DON'T PULL" a lot to the Humans!

Barbara has provided, trained and handled animals of many kinds for feature films, TV shows, commercials, print ads and special events for twenty-five years.
