Doggie Day Care |

Research has shown that play behavior in puppies and adolescent dogs, under the supervision of experienced handlers, develops physical and mental dexterity, refines coordination, diminishes excessive energy, and provides a safe outlet for socializing. The Doggie Daycare operates Monday through Friday for playtime, socialization, and exercise. Owners drop off their dogs in the morning, and pick up a happy, tired pup at the end of the day.
At Charlene's Pet Services, we pride ourselves in handpicking successful applicants in order to make your dog's daycare experience safe, fun, and stimulating. In this environment, they will learn and grow to be well-socialized, exercised, canine companions. Our daycare is a NOT daytime cage boarding. The dogs spend approximately six hours per day in group situations, interacting, socializing, and learning. We have 7,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play areas. One indoor area is designed specifically for rest and down time, which is a very important part of the daycare day. Not only do our daycare dogs learn how to have fun and burn off steam, that also learn when and how to settle down. Fees for our services: After successfully completing 5 trial days, a full 10-day package is available for $200. These package days are usable at your discretion and are non-refundable. You may also use the pay-as-you-go method, which is $23.00 per day, after the initial trial package. Geriatric and Special Needs Dogs can be accommodated. This service is limited due to space restrictions, and priced according to each dog's level of care needed (after the mandatory 5-day trial package has been completed). It is highly recommended, and perhaps in some cases mandatory, that adolescent age dogs 8 months to 18 months complete a beginner obedience class in order to be eligible for the 10-day package. This will be discussed after completing the 5-day trial period. We believe that exercise and training go hand in hand with the development of a well-balanced pet.
