REGISTRATION FEE OF $10.00 is a one-time fee payable to your sitter, and will be collected at the initial consultation.

CLIENT KEYS obtained during the initial consultations are held by the primary sitter of Charlene's Pet Sitting Service (known hereafter as CPSS) and will remain in the sitter's secure key file. If you prefer, the key can be returned after your assignment is complete. Please inform the sitter at the consultation. All future assignments requiring the key will be charged as a regular visit to pick up the key before the next assignment begins. Keys left outside at the client's request before or after assignments are not the responsibility of the sitter or CPSS. Each client will have a primary pet sitter, and CPSS will make every effort to schedule the primary sitter for each assignment, but in the event of illness or an unforeseen situation during an assignment, it is understood that CPSS will assign a secondary sitter if needed, and in some cases without notice or introduction to the client.

RESERVATIONS must be made through the business office of CPSS. Any reservations or schedule changes made directly with the sitter may not be covered by our Liability Insurance, and are subject to all late fees, short notice fees, etc, from the time they are called in to the office. Sitter voicemail numbers are provided for you to leave care instructions ONLY for your sitter. Charlene's Pet Sitters are employees of the company and covered by liability and bonding.

SHORT NOTICE service charge of $10.00 will be added to the first visit of any assignment arranged with less than 24 hours notice.

CANCELLATION FEE equivalent to your next visit price will be charged for visits cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Weekend cancellations will be charged for all weekend visits contracted. Weekend rates begin Friday at 5:00 pm, and end on Sunday.

SLEEPOVER CANCELLATION may be charged the price of one night of service if less than two weeks notice is given.

MAJOR HOLIDAY CANCELLATIONS are equal to price of all visits scheduled for the major holiday if less than 48 hours notice is given.

EXTENDING SERVICE : It is the responsibility of the pet owner to notify CPSS if visits are required past the originally scheduled end date of any pet sitting assignment. Do not assume that we can automatically continue the assignment. A return call from the CPSS office should be expected as confirmation. It is requested that the client notify the CPSS office that they have returned home.

LEASH LAWS : As professionals, we must adhere to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania mandated leash law. Dogs in our care, custody, and control will at all times be kept on leash unless otherwise confined to a completely FENCED enclosure on the client's property. Thank you for your understanding compliance to this ordinance. Please be sure your dog is wearing proper ID, including collar and tags.

Confirmation calls will be made to each client by CPSS one week before pre-arranged assignments begin. Please call if you haven't received confirmation before departure!!!
