Charlene's Pet Sitting Service is a convenient alternative to the commercial boarding facilities, or imposing on family or friends to care for your pets. We provide experienced companionship by reliable adult sitters. Your pet will follow their daily routine as closely as possible, while remaining in his secure, familiar, and healthy environment. Our sitters are screened, and a felony and misdemeanor background check is completed. We are insured by a liability policy. We are professional pet sitters!

Once you have a specific date in mind for your trip, or, you need to have a sitter come in during the day while you are work, we would like to come by and introduce ourselves. During our meeting we will get acquainted with your pet's special likes and dislikes, dietary needs, and exercise routine. We want your pet to be as comfortable as possible while you are away. Please have the name and phone number of your veterinarian handy and the name and number of someone we can contact in case of an emergency. We will pick up the house key at this time and ask you to sign a short contract. The information that is collected during our meeting will be held in strict confidentiality. The house key that we hold will be coded anonymously; in the event that it is misplaced it will be untraceable to your home.

Your pet sitter will not just run in and run out! We spend as much quality time as possible with your pet on each visit. An average visit is twenty to thirty minutes. Your sitter will wash food and water bowls, provide fresh food and water, clean the litter box, comb or brush your pet, play ball, take a long walk, or just cuddle on the couch. Whatever your pet wants to do, is what we want to do. Our visiting hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.

A portion of our visit will be spent on crime deterrent tactics. We are very security minded and pay close attention to details, and the condition of your home on each visit. We will bring in the mail and newspapers each day, open and close draperies, use different lights each night, take trashcans in and out if needed, and be sure that everything is locked up when we're ready to leave. These things will be provided to give your home the "lived in look". The pet sitters are familiar and comfortable using most home security systems. We encourage using a temporary code while we are caring for your home and pets.
